Amelia Medical Care & Occupational Medicine offers a wide range of Occupational Medicine and Employer Services with the goal of helping employers maintain a healthy workforce. From Walk-In care for injured workers to specialized physicals and testing, the staff works closely with employers to customize medical services. In addition to providing comprehensive care in the patient’s best interest, our providers are sensitive to the concerns of the employer as well as the work comp insurance company or TPA, as well as being sensitive to OSHA considerations. We fully understand the importance of maintaining a healthy workforce.

We invite you to tour our facility and discuss your company’s specific needs. We can even arrange to provide certain services, like drug and alcohol testing at your site, or After-Hours drug-alcohol testing. We are available to discuss the specific needs of your company whenever it is convenient for you.

Work-Related Injury Care – Workers Compensation

  • Prompt treatment & follow-up for work related Injury or Illness; Workers Comp or self-pay
  • Authorized and approved by most Workers Compensation insurance companies and TPA’s
  • Experienced and well-trained staff, including Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physician
  • DWC 25 and Work Status reports are prepared and distributed to designated authorities
  • Injury Management with emphasis on Return to Work
    • Maximize utilization of Light Duty options as appropriate
    • Specialty referrals as appropriate – physical therapy, MRI/CT, specialty physicians
  • Open Daily with extended weekday hours, and weekend hours
  • Basic Lab and Digital X-Ray onsite
    • B-Reads
    • X-Ray over reads by Radiologist – as indicated

Employer Services – Customized

  • Services Profile – customized for each Employer in keeping with industry standards
  • Employer/Supervisor access to Providers (giving private contact info if needed)
  • Electronic DOT’s – Employer portal for submissions and results
  • Drug testing – including E-Screen, Collection Only, Rapids or Send-outs; 5 or 10 panels
  • Hair Analysis Drug Screening

  • Medical Review Officers (MRO) on staff – available for discussion
